Continue along the southern coast, where black sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, and sweeping ocean views define the landscape. Walk along Reynisfjara, take in the stillness of vast lava fields, and journey toward towering glaciers and therapeutic lagoons that feel almost otherworldly.

Stand at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon as ice drifts slowly toward the sea, then walk nearby shores where fragments of glacial ice rest against volcanic sand like scattered crystal. Along the way, experience the scale and movement of Iceland’s glaciers firsthand, even stepping onto the ice itself with expert guidance.

Return through the southern region, passing waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, where the landscape continues to shift between power and stillness. EXPEDITION ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavík

Welcome to Iceland. Upon arrival at Keflavík Airport, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred into Reykjavík. Settle into your hotel in the city’s creative district and take time to rest after travel or explore the surrounding harbor area at your own pace.

Day 2: Reykjavík & Cultural Introduction

Discover Reykjavík through a guided city tour, including the Old Harbour, the striking Harpa Concert Hall, and the iconic Hallgrímskirkja overlooking the city. The afternoon is yours to explore, with an optional culinary experience offering a deeper introduction to Icelandic flavors.

Day 3: The Golden Circle & South Iceland

Travel beyond the city to explore Iceland’s renowned Golden Circle. Stand before the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, witness geothermal activity at Geysir, and walk through Þingvellir National Park, where tectonic plates meet and Iceland’s earliest parliament was established. Continue into South Iceland and settle into your countryside hotel.

Day 4: Glaciers, Lagoons & Black Sand Shores

Journey along the southern coast, where volcanic landscapes and glacial scenery unfold. Walk the black sands of Reynisfjara, then continue east toward Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where icebergs drift through still waters. Nearby, Diamond Beach glistens with fragments of ice scattered along the shore. An optional boat experience offers a closer view of the lagoon’s floating ice.

Day 5: South Shore & The Blue Lagoon

Return along Iceland’s southern coastline, stopping at waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, each offering a different perspective on the country’s natural power. Continue past coastal cliffs and glacier views before returning to Reykjavík. In the afternoon, unwind at the Blue Lagoon, where mineral-rich waters provide a relaxing conclusion to the journey.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure flights home.
